Meet Kodiak, or he as likes to be called for short, Kodi. Kodi was found by a Franklin Family Pride Volunteer. The volunteer pulled him out of a garbage dumpster behind a local grocery store. Kodi, another kitten, and 2 young females were all literally thrown away. The volunteer witnessed this horrific act and tried to get a license plate number but it was late and too dark. The volunteer then went dumpster diving and saved 4 lives. Kodi was named Kodiak, because he looks like a little bear, fuzzy, medium length hair, rich in browns, rust and black colored bear. As of 10/18/14, Kodi is approx. 20 weeks old. He has all of his age appropriate vaccines and has been neutered He tested negative for FIV & FeLeuk. Kodi has a great personality, playful and a purring machine. He also has the longest whiskers and the sweetest, meow. This fuzzy little bear needs to be settled into his forever den before winter approaches. Food, cozy bed and lots of human snuggles will get him through a life time of winters.
